The hungry horse at stone gallows taunton is not very snazzy but the burgers it serves up are good for a pub with so little pretense, and certainly good value, they offer a burger and pint for £5, which is nearly as cheap as a Mc Donalds.
The dining party ordered a stadard burger and a tex mex burger. Both were of good qaulity, the tex mex burger having some perculiar taste combination but none the less very enjoyable with jalepeno peppers and onion rings.
To acompany your burger there are a few ales to choose (Abbot and IPA) from, along with the normal fizzy beers.
What this place lacks is individuality, with no effort placed on local supply. There is a very good brewery in Wiveliscomb, they could stock some of their beers rather than haul it all from kent.
